Meet the voice behind Belgium’s start-up stories
Belgium is home to bold founders and fast-growing start-ups. Yet for anyone new to the ecosystem, discovering the people and companies behind that momentum is not always easy.
Claudia Colvin experienced this firsthand when she moved to Belgium in 2022, after living in London and Barcelona. As she began exploring the local start-up scene, she found an ecosystem that initially seemed small, fragmented and shaped by complex regional networks.
Looking closer, she discovered something very different. Belgium had no shortage of ambitious founders or promising companies. Many of their stories simply remained untold, or circulated only within local communities.
That realization led Claudia to create Allez Startups, a podcast dedicated to the people building Belgium’s start-up ecosystem.
Bringing Belgium’s start-up stories into the spotlight
Through conversations with founders, investors and ecosystem experts, Allez Startups explores what really happens behind the scenes of building and scaling a company.
The guests share personal experiences, practical advice and hard-earned lessons, not only the polished version of entrepreneurship. By taking these stories beyond their usual circles, the podcast helps Belgium’s start-up communities discover and learn from one another.
This matters in an ecosystem spread across different cities, regions and networks. It also responds to a cultural reality. Belgian founders are not always the loudest voices in the room, even when they are building companies with international ambition.
Allez Startups helps give those founders, and their lessons, the visibility they deserve.

Claudia brings more than an interviewer’s perspective to these conversations.
As a former founder and the current Head of People and Talent at Roamless, she understands both the entrepreneurial journey and the people challenges that emerge as companies grow.
That combination allows her to move beyond success stories and explore the decisions, tensions and setbacks that shape a start-up’s development.
Bringing the conversation to A6K
On September 25, Claudia will bring that same approach to A6K as moderator of our next Brown paperbag session.
